Author Biography

Humberto García Pérez, Universidad de Las Palmas de Gran Canaria

Graduate in Spanish Language and Hispanic Literatures and currently a contract professor at the Universidad de Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. He belongs to the Recognized Research Group (RRG) Sociolinguistics, Acoustic Phonetics, and Linguistics Applied to Teaching (Sociolingüística, Fonética Acústica y Lingüística Aplicada a la Enseñanza) of the aforementioned institution. His main lines of research and scientific contributions focus on acoustic phonetics and dialectal morphosyntax of Canarian Spanish from a variationist perspective.
