Estudio exploratorio sobre problemas de combinación de estados

Presentamos los resultados de un estudio exploratorio, realizado con alumnos de 11-13 años de edad, sobre problemas aditivos de combinación de estados, que son aquellos en los que hay dos estados parciales cuya suma es el estado total. Todos los problemas propuestos se refieren a saldos dinerarios (positivos o negativos) o a deudas dinerarias mutuas, y el análisis que se ha hecho considera las variables siguientes: signos de los números, posición de la incógnita y formato de la pregunta. Los resultados nuestran que los problemas con más bajo porcentaje de acierto por parte de los alumnos son aquellos en los que los saldos parciales tienen signos distintos y la incógnita es uno de ellos.
