Experiencias de futuros docentes impartiendo cursos de IFE a estudiantes universitarios de música y literatura en México

Resumen

La Licenciatura en la Enseñanza del Inglés (LEI) de la Universidad de Guanajuato prepara a futuros docentes para impartir clases de Inglés como Lengua Extranjera (ILE). Dos practicantes egresadas de dicho programa realizaron una investigación sobre el diseño de clases de Inglés para Fines Específicos (IFE) donde enseñaban inglés a alumnos universitarios de licenciaturas en música y literatura, para cumplir con el componente de práctica profesional, así como el proyecto de titulación de su carrera. El objetivo principal del presente estudio es explorar sus experiencias docentes a través de reflexiones sobre el diseño e implementación de los cursos. El análisis temático de los datos arrojados de la entrevista profunda semiestructurada reveló que, además de que las participantes disfrutaron la impartición de las sesiones debido a su propia afinidad con los ámbitos donde se desempeñaron, la LEI se podría beneficiar de la inclusión de una asignatura enfocada en el área de la enseñanza de una segunda lengua para fines específicos.
