Plagiarism Detection Policy

Philologica Canariensia has a very strict policy against publication fraud. Publication fraud and misconduct in all their forms (plagiarism, self-plagiarism, falsification of data, salami slicing, etc.) are totally unacceptable and will lead to manuscript rejection. This journal uses Turnitin anti-plagiarism software to check all manuscripts. For other forms of misconduct such as salami slicing (see Ethics in Research & Publication – Elsevier), the journal will search on the web for the author’s previous publications.
