Author Biography

Míriam Librán Moreno, Universidad de Extremadura

Míriam Librán Moreno is Associate Professor of Ancient Greek in the Universidad de Extremadura (Cáceres, Spain). She has published papers on Greek literature in some of the leading journals of Europe. Her book Lonjas del banquete de Homero. Convenciones dramáticas en la tragedia temprana de Esquilo (Huelva, 2005) analyses the use of poetic craft and stagecraft in the early tragedy of Aeschylus. Her main research interests involve Greek tragedy, especially fragmentary tragedy, the Greek novelist Iamblichus, and the reception of Greek and Latin literature in the work of J. R. R. Tolkien.
