Author Biography

Paula Cabrera Castro, Universidad de La Laguna

Paula Cabrera Castro holds an university degree in Spanish: Language and Literature (Universidad de La Laguna) and two master’s degrees: one in North American Studies and the other in Spanish Teaching as a Foreign Language. She is currently working in her doctoral thesis entitled Estudio y edición de una novela inédita en español: Buscar otro nombre al amor de Nivaria Tejera, for which she has been awarded a research staff training contract (FPI). She is also a member of the research group "Palingestos. Feast and spectacle in popular culture in its Atlantic context: literature, art, cinema and theatre", member of the Instituto Universitario de Estudios de las Mujeres and secretary of the Cultural Classroom of Language and Literature of the Universidad de La Laguna.
