Author Biography

Lorenzo Cittadini, Universidad de Málaga

Lorenzo Cittadini is a singer-songwriter, writer, teacher, translator and PhD student at the Universidad de Málaga. His main research interests are in travel literature, especially in the Mediterranean area, with a special focus on publications from the 19th and 20th centuries. Together with the poets Silvestro Neri and Pedro J. Plaza González, he coordinates the journal Quaderni Mediterranei, sponsored by the Università Ca' Foscari Venezia and the Universidad de Málaga. He has also published two music albums, La Rosa Corsara (2017) and 22.12 (2018). He has published, together with Giovanni Caprara, the first Spanish translation of Sicilia, su corazón by Leonardo Sciascia (El Toro Celeste, 2021) and a collection of short stories, Viaggi e altre nostalgie (La Piave Editore, 2021).
