Author Biography

Israel Castro Robaina, Universidad de Las Palmas de Gran Canaria

Israel Castro Robaina is a professor of the online platform of the Universidad de Las Palmas de Gran Canaria and is a researcher at the Institute of Textual Analysis and Applications (Cognition, Texts and Contexts division). In July 2021 he defended his doctoral thesis entitled Texto y accesibilidad cognitiva. Un protocolo de actuación para la adaptación de textos de tipología jurídico-administrativa al método de Lectura Fácil. Currently, his research is focused on the analysis of textual processing procedures to generate cognitively accessible texts, as well as on the application of Easy Reading as a method to generate materials for the educational environment.
