-The design of education and specially the assessment are two of the professional competences that really concern the university teachers. Hence, this paper seeks to support the teachers providing a guide that will help them with the teaching plan,
describing the main elements of the curriculum, and based on a learning-oriented assessment approach. The framework followed by the authors, lecturers at the University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria (ULPGC), is the model of teaching proyect proposed by this university. On the other hand, their aim is to show how from a
model set, it is possible to develop a new teaching plan proposal. This proposal should cover the main elements, which must appear in the teaching projects, including a learning-oriented assessment.
