La imagen modela la imagen: África a través de los libros de texto de Secundaria

Este trabajo estudia la representación de África en los libros de texto de CienciasSociales de Secundaria publicados en España entre 2007 y 2010. Se trata de analizar qué imagen idea de «los otros» se transmite a través de los discursos verbal y visual. Así, observamos que ambos ofrecen una visión uniforme, sesgada y negativa.Por ello, es necesario hacer presente en los centros de Secundaria una nueva visión de África. Nuestro trabajo recoge aquellos proyectos didácticos que se desarrollan en este sentido y aporta propuestas para mejorar la docencia de este continente.
