Abstract

El trabajo que a continuación se presenta aborda el problema del sexismo en el uso del lenguaje, puesto que éste por su vinculación indisoluble con el pensamiento humano, es un agente esencial en la configuración de estereotipos y prejuicios.
El tema se trata desde una óptica educativa, en concreto desde el área de Lengua y Literatura, puesto que estimamos necesaria una respuesta eficaz que siente las bases de una nueva formación, mucho más equitativa, de los individuos. El objetivo de nuestra investigación es analizar la existencia y el alcance de los estereotipos de género presentes en el lenguaje escrito. El contexto de estudio es la escuela, concretamente un aula del último curso de Educación Primaria.
