En este artículo, se describen los diferentes planes de estudio que desde la creación de la primera Escuela Normal hasta la actualidad conducen a la formación de los Maestros. Se reflexiona sobre el perfil que deben tener estos profesionales hoy día y se establecen una serie de conclusiones que llevan a la necesidad de una urgente reestructuración en su formación destacando la importancia de ser, en principio, maestros generalistas para luego obtener una especialización.Downloads
