Author Biography

Pedro J. Plaza González, Universidad de Málaga

Pedro J. Plaza González graduated in Hispanic Philology at the Universidad de Málaga and holds a Double Master's Degree in Teaching and Management of Spanish Literary and Linguistic Heritage. He is Research Staff in Training at the Universidad de Málaga, where he teaches the subjects Spanish Literature: Poetry and Spanish Literature of the Golden Age. In 2017 he published, with Giovanni Caprara, the Spanish translation of Canti sospesi tra la terra e il cielo, a work by the Italian poet Silvestro Neri. He prepared the edition of Cancionero del amor fruitivo (2018), by José Lara Garrido. He has also been in charge of the anthology Desde el Sur te lo digo, by Antonio Gala (2019), which brings together his poems written in Málaga and some unpublished texts. He currently collaborates with several literary magazines and is working on his doctoral thesis on Gala's poetic work.
