-El cumplimento del derecho a la educación es desolador, por sus causas y número de afectados. Los conflictos bélicos, la pobreza, el género, la oposición cultural y ladiscapacidad inciden negativamente en la probabilidad de asistir a la escuela. El abandono escolar temprano y el analfabetismo también son obstáculos para lograruna educación universal.
El derecho a la educación se logrará cuando todos y todas puedan acceder y permanecer en el sistema educativo en cualquier momento de la vida, con equidad y calidad.
Mientras no sea así, la educación como instrumento para que la humanidad pueda progresar hacia los ideales de paz, libertad y justicia social correrá un serio peligro.
-The education rights implementation is far from being a reality. War conflicts, poverty, genre, cultural opposition and discapacity are very often negative factors for school attendance. Early school drop-outs and illiteracy are obstacles for achievinga universal education.
The education rights will be accomplished when everyone at anytime in life can have access and permanence in the school system with both equality and quality.
Otherwise education as a tool for humans to progress towards peace, freedom and social justice will be seriously threaten.
